Responsible Service Compliance Guidelines

The East Malvern RSL Sub – Branch is licensed to serve alcohol and provide gambling facilities in the state of Victoria, the provision of both services is regulated by State Legislation.

The Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 provides guidelines for correct service of alcohol and responsibilities for operation of licensed premises. This club complies with all statutory requirements, plays an active roll in the local council liquor accord and ensures all staff in its employ are trained in responsible service of alcohol and hold current certification for correct service.

The Gambling Regulation Act 2003 provides guidelines for the service of gambling in the state of Victoria. This club complies with all statutory requirements, actively engages in “Gamblers Help” awareness programs for all staff and ensures all staff hold current responsible service gambling certification. The club also complies with a Gambling code of conduct regulated by the state government authorities and RSL (Victorian Branch) Inc.
